I mean it's fair if they get upset, as far as I know Akami ga kill wasn't so lazy to copy and paste from other anime like RWBY (heck even Yang a copy of Tifa). sorry volume 3 was the last decent volume before it became a mess and I hoped this anime would be better but nah not impressed.

The Creator and Fight Choreographer Monty Oum died during the Volume 3 production. After that no one can replicate how Monty sees RWBY and how it will go on in the future.

Yes, because of the story & the action not feeling as good as it used to, especially without the original creator around (the way he did fight scenes played a pretty big part in drawing people to the original series).

Can't argue with that. Even I felt it. Thought this one would be more cut and dry. Instead, I'm met with a Ruby solo just cause why not? OOF. Pyrrah could have joined in to help too! The odds of bring Weiss back to her senses are clearly better if Pyrrah tagged along with Yang and Blake. All the more reason with how Weiss sees Pyrrah, but the devs just had to pull this one for this world version of Ruby's character growth! Sigh...

edit: Now I just went from being kinda worried to seriously worried about how they'll portray Cinder's character.
